Get to know the athletes representing Australia at the 2026 World Championships — introducing Aaron Fels.

Aaron will be competing at the 11th FAI World Canopy Piloting Championships and 5th FAI World Canopy Piloting Freestyle Championships in Eloy, Arizona from 18-24 October 2026.

After being persuaded by friends to compete in 2023, Aaron quickly became hooked. Training with purpose and learning from world-class canopy pilots at national events, he progressed to most recently achieving gold in distance and bronze overall at the 2026 Australian Canopy Piloting Championships. With a desire to continuously learn and improve, Aaron aims to continue representing Australia on the world stage while helping to grow Canopy Piloting through coaching and mentoring.
