Skydiving for Under 12's
If you are interested in skydiving and you are under 12 then your parent or guardian will need to first of all contact the skydive club of your choice to inquire about making a tandem skydive. Not all skydive clubs are equipped to manage tandem skydives with children, so check with them first.
Click here for a list of all the Skydiving Clubs.
The skydive club will need to make an application to the Australian Parachute Federation for a waiver to a regulation that identifies the minimum age for tandem parachuting is 12. This application will need to be approved before the skydive may take place. The club will need to submit to the APF an application on Form O6 - U12 Procedure & Application.
Please note, the APF Office will ONLY accept forms submitted directly from the skydive club.
