JOHN SWANLAND

Experience

Usually known as “Swanee”, John has been a fixture around drop zones for many years.  In the past he has served five terms as VTPC Chair.  He was then elected to multiple terms as Chair of the Area Board of Review.  He is currently serving his second term as VTPC Treasurer.  He has held a National appointment as an APF Review Officer for a number of years. He joined the Board in September 2020 following an election in his council area.  Outside of jumping he has held a number of senior leadership and management positions in the education sector.

Qualifications:

• Associate Degree in Arts and Sciences- (USA)
• Bachelor of Arts in Education (USA)
• Graduate Diploma in Computer Education—University of Melbourne
• Master of Education—University of Melbourne
