What is E-League? 

The E-League is a national, remote competition series with free registration, created to grow interest and participation in competition by making it easier for novice and intermediate skydivers to get involved. Entrants jump at their home DZ and submit their jumps online to be scored.

Objectives:

  • Attract more skydivers into competition, by reducing barriers to entry and bringing people together.
  • Provide novice and intermediate jumpers with new challenges and goals to aim towards.
  • Re-engage experienced skydivers who may not have competed recently.
  • Provide another platform for judges to maintain and develop judging proficiency.

  • Round 2: August 22 - 30, 2026
  • Round 3: December 12 - 20, 2026

Competitive Disciplines

E-League competition disciplines and subcategories are as follows:

  • 4-Way Formation Skydiving: Blast, A
  • 2-Way Formation Skydiving: Blast, A
  • 2-Way Mixed Formation Skydiving: Blast
  • 2-Way Vertical Formation Skydiving: Intermediate
  • Wingsuit Acro: Intermediate
  • Canopy Formation: 2-Way Sequential
  • Speed Skydiving: Male, Female
  • Angles: Intermediate

 

Competition Format - How it works:

  • The competition is a series of 3 rounds, each consisting of 3 jumps, which will take place during specific periods in May, August and December.
  • The dive pool for each round will be announced on the Friday afternoon before the scheduled competition window(except for Speed Skydiving).
  • Competitors are to complete the required jumps within the competition window allocated, with videos or speed data, submitted online for remote judging by noon on the Monday after the competition has concluded.

Eligibility and Team Composition for Blast categories:

Rules apply to team performers, they do not include camera flyers.

  • 4-Way Formation Skydiving Blast:
  • No more than 25% of the team may have competed at national AA standard
  • 50% of the team must have less than 200 jumps each at the start of the series
  • 2-Way Formation Skydiving Blast teams:
  • Both performers in 2-Way teams must have less than 200 jumps each at the start of the series

 


Competition Rules

  • The competition series consists of 3 rounds, with 3 jumps per round, equalling 9 jumps in total.
  • Only one submission is allowed per team for each jump.
  • Videos must be submitted as original, unedited files, with no 360 camera footage submitted. WS Acro footage must be reformatted out of 360° format to allow easy viewing by judges
  • Teams must maintain at least 75% of original starting members throughout the series (not including camera flyers) to be eligible for overall series prizes.
  • Judging time will be as per APF Sporting Code for each category.
  • A jump-off will be drawn if there is a tie for 1st and 2nd place.
  • Additional days may be allocated to complete a round for verified bad weather conditions, subject to approval.
  • Prizes will only be awarded for categories with at least a full podium of competitors.

 


Results and Prizes

Results:

  • Round winners will be announced once judging is complete for that round.
  • Overall series winners will be announced after Round 3 has been judged.

Prizes:

The APF and state councils have joined forces to generously offer jump tickets as the prizes for podium positions in each event.

  • 1st place: 10 Jump Tickets per person
  • 2nd place: 6 Jump Tickets per person
  • 3rd place: 4 Jump Tickets per person

Please note: There must be at least a full podium in each event to qualify for the prizes.
