Councils are established as committees of the APF under the Constitution. Each state, territory or region has a Council, with Queensland divided into South Queensland and North Queensland, and Victoria and Tasmania combined. All members are welcome and encouraged to attend and become involved in their Area Councils to support sport development. Area Councils are always looking for volunteers to assist in different roles, and training can be provided.
